Basic terms and conditions for using the ReadMe service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Saeroon (the "Company") and users regarding the use of the ReadMe service (the "Service").

ReadMe is a profile page creation and management service for personal branding.

Article 2 (Definitions)

Terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:

• "Service": The ReadMe platform (readme.fit) and related features provided by the Company.

• "User" or "Member": A person who agrees to these Terms and registers for the Service.

• "Profile Page": A personal page created by a user through the Service.

• "Content": All materials registered by users in the Service, including text, images, links, etc.

• "Link in Bio Mode": A mode displaying profiles and portfolios.

• "Story Mode": A mode for sharing news and updates.

Article 3 (Effect of Terms)

• These Terms become effective when posted on the Service screen or otherwise communicated to users.

• The agreement is established when a user agrees to these Terms upon registration.

• The Company may revise these Terms as needed, and changes will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date.

• If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may discontinue use and withdraw from the Service.

• Continued use of the Service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 4 (Membership)

• Membership registration is required to use the Service.

• Registration is completed when a user agrees to the Terms, provides required information, and receives Company approval.

• Registration may be refused or cancelled in the following cases:

- Using another person's identity

- Providing false information

- Previously lost membership status

- Other violations of these Terms

• Users under 14 years of age require legal guardian consent.

Article 5 (Service Provision)

The Company provides the following services:

Basic Services

• Profile page creation and management

• Link in Bio Mode (profiles, portfolios)

• Story Mode (news, updates)

• Registration of links and content

• Theme and design customization

• Visitor statistics

Paid Services

• Premium themes and features

• Extended customization options

• Additional analytics features

The Company may add, modify, or discontinue services, with advance notice for material changes.

Article 6 (Paid Services and Payment)

• Some services may be provided for a fee.

• Users must pay the displayed fee when using paid services.

• Payment is available through credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods designated by the Company.

Refund Policy

• Full refund if service is not used within 7 days of payment

• After service use, prorated refund based on usage period

• Full refund if service cannot be provided due to Company fault

Automatic Payment

• Subscription products automatically renew until cancelled

• Automatic payment cancellation is available until 24 hours before the next payment date

Article 7 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

Prohibited Activities

• Misappropriating others' personal information or registering false information

• Interfering with normal Service operation

• Posting content that defames others or causes harm

• Posting obscene, violent, or hateful content

• Promoting illegal goods/services or engaging in fraud

• Hacking, distributing malware, or threatening security

• Infringing on Company or third-party intellectual property rights

• Posting spam or advertising content without permission

• Other activities violating applicable laws or public morals

Violations may result in service restrictions or loss of membership.

Article 8 (Content Rights and Management)

Content Rights

• Copyright of content registered by users belongs to the respective users.

• Users warrant that they have lawful rights to the content they register.

• Content that infringes on third-party copyrights may not be posted.

Content Management

• The Company does not pre-screen user content.

• However, content may be deleted or access restricted without prior notice in the following cases:

- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws

- Receipt of reports of copyright or other rights infringement

- Request from law enforcement agencies

- Other policy violations

Use Within Service

• Users agree that the Company may use content for service operation and promotional purposes.

• However, personally identifiable information will not be disclosed externally without consent.

Article 9 (Termination and Service Restrictions)

Account Deletion

• Users may withdraw at any time through service settings or customer support.

• Upon withdrawal, account information and content are immediately deleted.

• However, information required by law will be retained for the prescribed period.

Service Restrictions

• The Company may restrict service use or terminate membership after prior notice in the following cases:

- Violation of these Terms

- Intentional interference with service operation

- Harmful activities toward others

- Other violations of Company usage policies

• In urgent cases, post-notice may substitute for prior notice.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

• The Company is not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or telecommunications service provider outages.

• The Company is not responsible for service usage issues caused by user fault.

• Users are responsible for the legality and accuracy of content they register.

• The Company does not intervene in or assume responsibility for disputes between users or between users and third parties.

• The Company is not responsible for free services except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

• The laws of the Republic of Korea shall govern the interpretation and application of these Terms.

• In the event of disputes arising from service use, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

• Amicable settlement between parties shall be prioritized in case of disputes.
